The Canadian Prime Minister stressed that Russian President Vladimir Putin is trying to destabilize the international order based on rules that protect everyone.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau believes that Ukraine has the right to use long-range weapons to strike Russian territory in order to “prevent Russian strikes on hospitals and children's gardens”.
His statement was quoted by The Canadian Press.
“Canada fully supports Ukraine in using long-range weapons to prevent and stop Russia's continued ability to degrade Ukrainian civilians, infrastructure, and most importantly, kill innocent civilians in its unjust war,” Trudeau said.
According to him, this must be done despite Moscow's threats that it will drag NATO into a direct war with Russia.
Trudeau also stressed that Russian President Vladimir Putin is trying to destabilize the international rules-based order that protects everyone.
The Canadian prime minister says Ukraine must win the fight against Russia invasion, otherwise it will encourage other large countries to try to “absorb” their neighbors.
Recall that the day before, the president of the aggressor state Vladimir Putin, in a comment to Russian propagandists, said that the use of long-range Western weapons by the Ukrainian army to strike Russia means the direct participation of NATO countries in the hostilities.
