Canadian defender of the Riga “Dynamo” Jordan Murray stole a stick from the forward of Omsk “Avangard” Ilya Kovalchuk and lost his job. This was reported by Match TV.

The incident took place on January 27 in Riga before the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) regular championship match between Dynamo and Avangard. In the morning after training, the Canadian entered the guests' locker room and took Kovalchuk's stick. The Russian player announced the loss of the equipment, after which the ice arena employees started searching.
