Canadian coach Brian Orser called the reason for the return of the Russian figure skater Evgenia Medvedeva to Russia. His words are quoted by IFS Magazine.
He stated that due to the quarantine caused by the coronavirus pandemic, Medvedeva could not reunite with her mother in Canada and therefore decided to stay in Russia. He added that the skater had the necessary documents to enter the country, but her mother did not. “Mom played an important role in her daughter's daily life.
