Arms must be used to return the sovereign territory of Ukraine.
Arms that United States America provide the Ukrainian Armed Forces as part of military assistance intended for use on the territory of Ukraine. Washington has not changed its position.
This was stated by Deputy Pentagon Representative Sabrina Singh during a briefing.
She emphasized that the United States has not changed its position on the use of weapons provided to Ukraine. According to Singh, the weapons must be used to return Ukraine's sovereign territory.
“We have made our requests public on this matter. Again, I would like to reiterate that in every Ukrainian Defense Contact Group that the Minister convenes, the weapons that are provided, again, are intended for use on battlefield,” said a Pentagon spokeswoman
She noted that the American Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and his Ukrainian counterpart Rustem Umerov are discussing how to use the capabilities of weapons. According to Washington, American weapons are best used on Ukrainian territory.
Recall that earlier, White House National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby explained why Ukraine is prohibited from shelling Russian territory. He is convinced that Putin wants escalation and even greater war in Europe.
