Cadets of military universities of the CIS fought at the Olympiad in Informatics
An international Olympiad in informatics for cadets of military universities was held in St. Petersburg. The competition is being held for the sixth time. And this year they are dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the CIS, MIR 24 reports.
Team competition. There were three rounds in total. At first, future officers competed in the knowledge of specialized programs. After that, they themselves developed systems for controlling the battle. As in the field, every minute counts. The organizers devoted only three hours to all tasks.
“During the Olympiad, the guys not only demonstrate their personal qualities, team spirit and knowledge of subjects, but also make new friends. And given that the Olympiad is held alternately in different states of the Commonwealth, they will learn a lot of interesting things about our countries, ”said Elena Zolotareva, advisor to the secretariat of the Council of Defense Ministers of the CIS member states.

Russia was represented at the competition by cadets of the Mikhailovskaya Military Artillery Academy and the Mozhaisky Military Space Academy in St. Petersburg.
