NATO headquarters shares concerns about Russia's growing military power.

Russia's occupation army may attack Russia in 2026 territory of member countries NATO. This is stated in the report of the German intelligence services on the analysis of the military threat from the Russian Federation.

Business Insider writes.

So, according to the analysis, Russia is preparing for a large-scale conflict with the West, as indicated by the reorganization of the Russian army, the movement of troops and the deployment of missiles in the west of the country, as well as the increase in Russian arms production.

“It can no longer be ruled out that Russia will attack at least part of NATO territory from 2026, for example in the Baltic countries or Finland,” the Business Insider report quotes.

It's the ramp-up in arms production that could see Russia double its military power over the next five years compared to today, especially in the field of conventional weapons, a classified report says.

At NATO headquarters they also share concerns about the growth of Russia's military power, but they believe that this does not necessarily lead to war.

So, according to US intelligence services, “in the medium term” there is no danger of a Russian attack on NATO. In their opinion, the Russian army will need another five to eight years to restore the military power they had before the invasion of Ukraine.

Recall that Foreign Policy stated that Russia is already preparing for the next war. This is likely a conflict with NATO that could occur within the next ten years.
