The European prosecutor's office is investigating 120 cases of abuse in this country.
During a large-scale special operation, the Bulgarian police detained former Prime Minister Boyko Borisov on suspicion of misuse of European Union money.
This was reported late on March 17 by the Bulgarian TV channel BNT.
Also on In this case, former Finance Minister Vladislav Goranov, former head of the budget committee of the Bulgarian parliament Menda Stoyanova and former head of the government press service Sevdalina Arnaudova were detained.
