The National Assembly of Bulgaria ratified an agreement with the European Commission on providing Ukraine with microfinance assistance in the amount of 16,654,646 euros. This was the second stage of planned support.

Details
Ratification was supported by 116 deputies. 48 voted against, another 6 abstained. The agreement provides for the provision by Bulgaria of guarantees in the amount of 16,654,646 euros.
It is noted that during the meeting, opinions were voiced criticizing the allocation of funds to Ukraine. Thus, the leader of the Vozrazhdane party Kostadin Kostadinov expressed concern about “internal priorities”.
The assistance aims to strengthen support for Ukraine in the face of ongoing challenges.
