Israeli air force carried out further strikes on the southern suburb of Beirut.

Witnesses of the Israeli attack on Beirut called it the largest since the beginning of the war.

Israeli air force attacked the suburb Beirut is experiencing its most intense violence since Israel dramatically stepped up its campaign against the Iran-backed Hezbollah group.

Reuters reports this.

“There was a roar from the explosions all over Beirut overnight and red and white flashes were seen for almost 30 minutes,” witnesses said.

A grey fog hung over the city, they said, with destruction visible in the southern suburbs of the street and smoke rising from the area.

“Last night was the most violent night we've seen. Buildings were shaking around us and at first I thought it was an earthquake. There were dozens of impacts. We couldn't count them all. It was unknown, the sounds were such deafening explosions,” said one resident of the Burj al-Barajneh area in the southern suburbs of Beirut.

Israel said it “carried out a series of targeted strikes on a number of weapons storage facilities and terrorist infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah terrorists in the Beirut area.”

Lebanese authorities have not yet reported what the rockets hit or what damage they caused.

Recall that earlier it became known that the Israeli military carried out a precise strike on Hamas terrorists operating in a command and control center built into a complex that previously served as the Ibn Rushd school in the area Deir el-Balah.
