— In order to celebrate the feat, mass heroism and resilience of citizens identified in the defense of their cities during the repulse of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, I decide to award the honorary distinction “Hero City of Ukraine”, — the message says.
The title was given to:
- Bucha (Kyiv region);
- Irpin (Kyiv region);
- Nikolaev (Mykolaiv region);
- Akhtyrka (Sumy region).
In addition, President Zelensky announced the assignment of < strong>the title of Hero of Ukraine to seven servicemen of the National Guard, of which, unfortunately, five posthumously, announced the awarding of state awards to 240 servicemen of the National Guard and 119 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine , as well as rewarding with state awards. local authoritiesand 31 healthcare workers.
