Earlier it was reported that the incident occurred at the station “West Station” in the commune of Molenbeck. According to unofficial data, about five people were injured in the attack, the radio station Vivacite reports.
According to RTL, the police neutralized the attacker. The station is closed, investigators are working there.
Note that the Molenbeck commune is known for the fact that it is home to a large community of immigrants from the Middle East and Africa. Members of a group associated with the terrorist organization Islamic State (banned in Russia), who organized the attacks in Paris and Brussels in 2015 and 2016, were based there.
