A pair of brothers from the American state of New Hampshire have been giving each other the same Christmas present for over 30 years. Reported by the Associated Press.
An unusual tradition began in 1987, when Ryan Wasson jokingly gave his brother Eric a box of Christmas-style chocolates, knowing that the donee would definitely not like such a present. Eric kept the box and gave it to his brother the next Christmas. Ryan recognized his gift and since then the brothers give these candies every year. They even started a special journal in which they take turns marking the date of the last donation.
In addition, the brothers come up with special creative ways to present a gift. For example, a box was frozen in a piece of ice, jelly made with it and sewn into a teddy bear.
