From 20 to 22 May, educational events of the educational marathon “New Knowledge” are held. At lectures, master classes and open lessons, participants are told about the achievements of Russian science and technology.
The artistic director of the Moscow Theater of Oleg Tabakov, actor Vladimir Mashkov highly appreciated the work of the educational marathon, stressing that the involvement of leading specialists with modern technologies opens up new opportunities for educational work.
“We live in a rapidly changing world. A modern person simply needs to have knowledge in various fields in order to deal with the stormy, and sometimes muddy, flow of various information. Therefore, it is very important to expand horizons, transfer knowledge in a fun and accessible form. At one time, the all-Russian society “Knowledge” became an academy for millions, popularizing advanced scientific achievements, which caused a huge surge of interest in research and scientific activities. The New Knowledge Society, operating on a modern digital platform, combines the traditions of attracting leading specialists to cooperation with modern technologies, which opens up new horizons for educational work, ”he said.
In his opinion, knowledge makes it possible to separate facts from speculation, make actions conscious, and decisions reasoned and balanced. “Discoveries take place in all areas: history, culture, sports, science and technology, industry and industry, information technology – now you can learn more about them, and knowledge is power,” the actor emphasized.
In-person events of the educational marathon are held in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Sochi, Vladivostok, Novosibirsk and Kaliningrad. Each city represents one of the areas of educational activities: history and culture, sports, science and technology, industry and industry, information technology.
The experts are prominent figures in science, culture, art, government, top managers of leading Russian and international companies, as well as athletes and successful entrepreneurs.
