Herman Gordon was born in Jamaica and came to the UK at the age of 12 and has since worked as a janitor at the University of Bristol.
Learning that Herman had not seen his family left in Jamaica for several years, the students decided to help him.
Herman won universal love thanks to his character – he always smiles and has a positive attitude.
In gratitude for the kind attitude, one of the students left a call on social networks, inviting everyone to chip in and help the cleaner get home.
About a month later, Herman was handed an envelope with a letter of thanks and £ 1,500 for vacation.
“Dear Herman, on behalf of the students of Bristol, we would like to thank you for everything – for your positive energy that you have shared with us over the years. You brightened up most of our days, and we want you to know how much we love and appreciate you. We have done everything we can to present you with a special gift as a token of our gratitude. Have a nice summer! ”, Wrote the students.
Upon receiving the envelope, the elderly man could not hold back his tears.
In the envelope, the students put a letter of gratitude for the work.

More than 250 students participated in fundraising, and the money was fully enough for a two-week vacation for Herman and his wife.
Numerous social media commentators praised the Bristolians' move:
– Hurry to do good, it comes back!
– We love to receive such great news!
– Well done, guys, it's just great!
