British Prime Minister and his fiancée are looking for money to renovate an office apartment

by alex

56-year-old British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his 32-year-old fiancée Carrie Symonds are looking for money to renovate a service apartment where they live with their young son.

According to British law, the prime minister can afford to spend up to 30 thousand pounds a year (more than 3 million rubles) on the repair of office housing and its furnishings. However, for Johnson and Symonds, this amount was not enough.

It is known that the couple lives in a four-bedroom apartment located above the official residence of the head of the UK Treasury.

Johnson is not the first prime minister to occupy this apartment – his predecessors also opted for this particular apartment, since it is significantly larger than the one located above the prime minister's residence.

The British media claim that the renovation, which was started shortly after Johnson and Symonds had a common child last year, is almost finished, and funds are now being sought to pay for it.

Johnson's spokesman declined to comment on the situation, citing the fact that all data will be released in due course.

Experts suggest that a charitable foundation may be created in Britain, the official mission of which will be to raise funds for the restoration of government buildings, but the main mission of the foundation will be to find money to pay for repairs in the prime minister's office apartment.
