The British Parliament lowered flags in connection with the assassination of Conservative MP David Aimess, who died after being attacked by a man with a knife.
This was announced on his Twitter page by the Speaker of the House of Commons of the British Parliament, Sir Lindsay Hoyle.
“The flags are at half-mast over the parliament following the news of the assassination of Sir David Aimess. Our thoughts and prayers are with David's family, friends and colleagues, ”he said.

Earlier, Emess died from stab wounds inflicted by a man.
The attack on the British parliamentarian occurred during a meeting with voters at a Methodist church in Essex.
