British intelligence showed the consequences of the strike on “Marinovka”/Collage Channel 24

On the night of August 22, Ukrainian drones attacked the Marinovka airfield in the Volgograd region of Russia. This strike caused large-scale destruction of key infrastructure and equipment.

At the airbase, the SBU, together with the Special Operations Forces, struck warehouses with KABs and fuel. It is from Marinovka that the Russians are actively bombing the front line in Ukraine.

What are the consequences of the attack on the Marinovka airfield?

The UK Ministry of Defense commented on the strike on the airbase and published satellite images after the attack. According to intelligence, the consequences are four destroyed aircraft shelters, three damaged aircraft shelters, a destroyed antenna radome, destroyed auxiliary buildings and destroyed open storage facilities.

Important! At the time of the strike, there could have been 29 aircraft at the airbase: 14 Su-24 aircraft and 15 Su-34 aircraft. In particular, this is the number of enemy aircraft that satellites recorded at Marinovka on August 19.

By the way, on the night of September 7, SBU drones also attacked a military warehouse in the Voronezh region of Russia, where North Korean missiles were stored. Russia regularly attacks Ukraine with these missiles.
