Ukraine and its allies are discussing measures that should help Ukraine not only hold the front line.

At the Labour conference in Liverpool, British Foreign Secretary David Lemmy said that the US should allow Ukraine to strike targets in the territory Russia.

The Guardian reports this.

“This is a critical time for courage, patience and resilience on behalf of the allies supporting Ukraine,” he noted.

David Lemmy believes that the problems of the war in Ukraine will become deeper and more severe, especially in late 2025 and 2026.

According to him, Ukraine and the allies are discussing measures that should help Ukraine not only hold the front line.

“As Foreign Secretary, I will of course not comment on the details of the operation, because this can only help Putin. But there is a real-time discussion between allies about how we can support Ukraine ahead of winter,” the head of the British Foreign Office emphasized.

Recall that during the visit to Kiev of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and British Foreign Secretary David Lemmy, President Volodymyr Zelensky noted the importance for Ukraine to obtain permission to use long-range weapons provided by the US and other partners as soon as possible.
