Britain's support for Ukraine will increase to €100 million – Truss

by alex

British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss said that her country has decided to increase the amount of financial support for Ukraine to €100 million.

Truss said this during a general briefing with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba on February 17.

– When the Prime Minister visited Kiev earlier this month, he announced an 88 million grant to support Ukraine's democracy and energy security. Today I can announce the next component of our support – an increase in funding for these projects up to €100 million, – said the head of the British Foreign Office.

Prior to this, Truss said that in the event of a new invasion of Ukraine, the Russian Federation would pay a serious price.
