London condemns such actions by Moscow and Pyongyang.
Great Britain condemned the use of ballistic weapons by the Russian army during attacks on Ukraine, which the Russian Federation received from North Korea.
This is reported by Reuters.
“Britain strongly condemns Russia's decision to use ballistic missiles sourced from North Korea in recent attacks on Ukraine. We call on North Korea to stop supplying weapons to Russia,” a British Foreign Office spokesman said in a statement.
A British Foreign Office spokesman stressed that new sanctions could be introduced against the DPRK for transferring ballistic missiles to Russia.
“Britain will continue to work with its partners to ensure that North Korea pays a heavy price for supporting Russia's illegal war in Ukraine,” the politician added.
By the way, according to The Washington Post, North Korea could have transferred several dozen ballistic missiles to the Russian Federation for attacks on Ukraine.
Recall that White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby, citing declassified intelligence data, said that Russia used missiles from North Korea for a massive air strike.
Members of the UN Security Council will meet on January 10 to discuss the supply of North Korean missiles to Russia. The UN Security Council is convened by the United States. Washington says that Russian troops used missiles from the DPRK during massive shelling of Ukraine on December 30 and January 2.
