Britain has eased visa rules for Ukrainian children: what is known

by alex

Ukrainian children sponsored by their parents or guardians will receive 18-month residence permits in the UK.

On Friday, January 31, the UK resumed a program to ease visa rules for Ukrainian children to enter country.

This was reported by the British Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.

Parents or legal guardians who have already received a residence permit in the UK under one of the Ukrainian programs have the right to apply for sponsorship of their children under the Homes for Ukraine program.

“Children sponsored by their parents (or legal guardians) will have a residence permit in the UK for 18 months,” the statement said.

Children will be able to receive education, medical services, benefits and have the opportunity to work in accordance with UK law.

“To obtain a visa as both the applicant child and the sponsor parents must meet all the requirements of the Homes for Ukraine program,” the press release says.

Recall that in Poland, refugee children are required to attend school.
