In the sky over St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region on the night of June 24, bright silvery clouds were seen.
It is possible to witness such a weather phenomenon only in the summer. Noctilucent clouds form very high (at a distance of 70-90 km from the earth), sometimes they are called night glowing clouds. Photos of clouds were published by the telegram channel “Astro Photo Swamp”.
“Clouds are visible all over the sky, most likely they are perfectly visible at more southern latitudes,” reads the caption under the pictures.
