In the central city of Mairan, water washed away a temporary bridge. In the same region, two workers went missing. They tried to save the equipment they were working on from the flood. Emergencies are conducting a search operation, but so far there is no information about the fate of the people washed away by the flood.
As reported, seasonal rains led to a severe flooding in Malaysia. The region had a monthly precipitation rate per day. Entire cities went under the water, and more than 30 thousand people left their homes. The police and the army were involved in the evacuation.
