Huawei CEO Richard Yu said that more than 150 million devices are now running the proprietary HarmonyOS operating system. He claims that this OS has become the fastest growing in history.
The announcement was made at the Huawei Developer Conference 2021 as part of the keynote speech by Richard Y. These 150 million include many different devices: smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, watches, and smart home items. This operating system was designed with device interoperability in mind.
Richard Yu added that by the end of 2021, this OS will reach 200 million devices, which will once again prove its phenomenal growth.
Also at the event, Huawei unveiled the latest version of the HarmonyOS 3. For now, only developers can try it out.
