On Wednesday, On July 24, a Russian citizen was detained in Turkey, suspected of involvement in the bombing of the car of a Russian military intelligence officer (GRU), which occurred on the same day in Moscow.
Turkish Interior Minister Ali Erlikai reported on the social network about a person detained on suspicion of a terrorist attack, publishing a corresponding video.
According to him, Turkish law enforcement officers received Interpol guidance from Russian security forces for the detention of Evgeniy Serebryakov, a Russian citizen who allegedly committed a terrorist attack by planting explosives in a car in Moscow, as a result of which 2 people were injured.
“The person arrived in our country on a Moscow-Bodrum plane,” the Turkish minister wrote, adding that the suspect left the airport unhindered because he was not in the international database of wanted persons.
His arrest occurred later.
Recall that today, as a result of a car explosion in Moscow, Andrei Torgashov, an officer of the military unit of “psychological operations” of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (GRU), was injured. Photos and videos from the scene of the explosion of Torgashov’s car were distributed on the Internet. In particular, the moment of the explosion and the wrecked car after it were recorded.
