According to Daily Mail, a China Eastern Airlines plane dived headfirst before crashing into a hillside and exploding near the city of Wuzhou in Teng County in southern Guangxi province. According to a rescue spokesman, the aircraft completely disintegrated, and the fire from the crash burned bamboo and trees before being extinguished.
The Civil Aviation Authority of China (CAAC) clarified that there were 123 passengers and 9 crew members on board. Earlier media reported that there were 133 people on board. The plane is known to have lost contact over the city of Wuzhou.
Note that the China Eastern Airlines website is displayed in black and white, airlines do this in the event of a plane crash as a sign of respect for the alleged victims.
Recall, on March 21, a Boeing 737 plane crashed in Wuzhou, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. There is no information about the victims yet.
