There were passengers on board.
A Boeing 787 plane landed in Antarctica on November 15. There were 45 people on board the plane.
Bild writes about this.
It is noted that the aircraft of the commercial company Norse Atlantic Airways took off from Oslo. It subsequently stopped in Cape Town before landing in Antarctica on a runway “made of ice and snow.”
The passengers were scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute.
The Boeing 787 also delivered 12 tons of equipment needed to explore the area to Antarctica.
Let us remind you that scientists have become convinced of the existence of the eighth continent of our planet, almost completely submerged under water.
