Blinken's visit to the United States is scheduled for April 24-26.
Head of the State Department USA will visit China, where he will discuss the military assistance Beijing is providing to Moscow.
This is reported by CNN with reference to a US State Department official.
Blinken's visit to the United States is scheduled for April 24-26, starting in Shanghai, where the official is scheduled to meet with local businesses.
“First, make progress on key issues; second, clearly and directly express concerns about bilateral regional and global issues; and third, discuss responsible management of competition,” the official said.
Blinken plans to “reaffirm our deep concerns about China’s support for Russia’s defense industrial base,” as well as human rights abuses and “unfair economic and trade practices,” he said.
Blinken will also discuss the situation in the Middle East, as the US has repeatedly called on China to pressure Iran to show restraint as tensions between it and Israel rise.
We recall that it was previously reported that the German concern Rheinmetall plans to produce Panther tanks in Ukraine.
In addition, we previously informed that Russia launched one of the largest tank assaults of the entire war near Avdeevka.
