Blinken spoke about the supply of American vaccines to Ukraine
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said the United States has sent about 2.2 million doses of coronavirus vaccines to Ukraine, RIA Novosti reports.
According to the head of the State Department, the second batch of drugs was delivered to the country.
“This step contributes to the implementation of the US commitment to victory over the global pandemic and assistance to Ukraine,” he said.
Earlier, the media reported that Poland will sell Ukraine a batch of AstraZeneca vaccine, which will soon expire.
Earlier it was reported that Ukraine has spent more than 80% of the funds that were allocated in the state budget to fight the coronavirus pandemic in 2021. A third of them, more than $ 343 million, went to the purchase of anticancer vaccines.
