The oldest and most important cyber currency rose by twelve percent to 27,329 dollars (22,413.68 euros) after temporarily rising to a record high of 28,382.45 dollars over the weekend.
“The rally is currently being fueled by private investors who have stocked up on digital talers over the Christmas holidays because the traditional markets had closed their gates”, says analyst Timo Emden from Emden Research.
