While a Bitcoin cost just under 34,000 euros on Friday, it fell to below 26,900 euros by Monday morning. If you invested 1,000 euros at the end of the week, you no longer have 790 today. The descent lasts the entire weekend.
It is the headlines about record values that induce many people to bet money on the currency themselves on user-friendly platforms. But the susceptibility to fluctuations should not be underestimated.
Nonetheless, the current value is still above what it was Monday a week ago. The latest wave already started in autumn, in December it suddenly shot up exponentially at a value of around 15,000 euros.
