Billionaire Jeff Bezos will go on a space trip on July 20
Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos will go into space in July with his brother Mark Bezos on the New Shepard spacecraft of his company Blue Origin.
“From the age of five I dreamed of traveling into space. On July 20, I will embark on this journey with my brother. Greatest adventure with my best friend, ”wrote the billionaire on Instagram.
Prior to this, Blue Origin announced the launch of an online auction for the drawing of one passenger seat aboard the reusable suborbital ship New Shepard. The results will be announced on June 12 during online trading in real time. Bezos will thus fly along with the winner of the auction.
Earlier, pilot-cosmonaut and hero of Russia Roman Romanenko held a meeting with Moscow students, discussing with them the prospects of space tourism.
