Iranian General Rostami said that Tehran has a secret weapon more powerful than a nuclear one, which it will use in response to a possible attack by Israel.
Brigadier General Ebrahim Rostami, former secretary of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Armaments Commission, commented on Israel's threats strike Iran. He said that Tehran is waiting for the right moment to give Israel “a big surprise that is more significant than nuclear weapons.”
He said this on Wednesday, October 16, in an interview with Didban Iran.
“We have some capabilities that are more powerful than nuclear weapons,” Rostam emphasized.
He confirmed that Iran is ready to strike the Israeli nuclear reactor in Dimona and has already conducted appropriate military exercises to practice this plan.
“Iran has a big surprise that is more significant than nuclear weapons, and we will keep it secret until the right moment,” he said. Rostami.
A representative of the Iranian government, Fatemeh Mohajerani, stated that Tehran does not want war and is against any escalation in the region. However, Iran “will not give up its own national interests, and Israel's recent response was a small part of Iran's military and missile power.”
According to Mohajerani, Iran is ready for even larger and more widespread attacks.
“This will be done without hesitation or leniency, and not simply in response,” an Iranian government spokeswoman said.
Recall that on Sunday, October 13, US President Joe Biden ordered the dispatch of an advanced anti-missile system to Israel, as well as US troops to operate it, to bolster the country's air defenses following missile attacks from Iran.
