Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has been tested for coronavirus. The test showed a negative result, the politician announced on Twitter.
“I am delighted to announce that Jill and I have tested negative for COVID. Thank you all for your concern. I hope this serves as a reminder: wear a mask, keep your distance and wash your hands, ”he wrote, referring to his wife, who also passed the test.
The coronavirus infection of the American president became known on the morning of October 2. His wife Melania Trump also tested positive for coronavirus. Sean Conley, a physician at the White House, said that the US leader and the first lady are doing well and plan to stay in the residence for the duration of their recovery. Trump does not intend to transfer his powers to US Vice President Mike Pence yet.
