Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden urged supporters to be patient and was optimistic about his chances of winning the election. He wrote about this on Twitter.
“I ask people to stay calm. Work is in progress. Counting [of votes] is coming to an end, ”he stressed. He also asked voters to keep faith in his victory.
After the speech of US President Donald Trump, Biden assured that no one could take away democracy from Americans. “America has gone too far, fought too many battles and endured too much for this to happen,” added the presidential candidate. He noted that people will not be silenced or surrendered, and every vote must be counted.
At the same time, the American leader expressed confidence in his victory in the elections “with historically record numbers.” According to the head of state, if we count the legitimate votes, then his leadership is undeniable.
