Kyiv has always kept promises not to use American weapons outside Ukraine.
In the Presidential Administration The USA stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces will not use ATACMS tactical missiles outside the internationally recognized territory of Ukraine.
This was stated by US Presidential Adviser on National Security Affairs Jake Sullivan, transmits Ukrinform.
He stated that the United States had enough time to check how Ukraine fulfills its obligations.
“We have had enough time to check how the Ukrainian leadership is fulfilling the commitment it made to use systems, including HIMARS, assuring that it would use them only on Ukrainian sovereign territory,” – said Sullivan.
He noted that the Ukrainian side has always fulfilled promises not to use American weapons outside Ukraine.
“Therefore, we are confident that they will fulfill these obligations (according to ATACMS – ed.),” the White House representative emphasized.
Recall that it was previously reported that Deputy Representative of the US State Department Vedant Patel officially confirmed the provision of ATACMS long-range missiles to Ukraine in the previous assistance package.
