US Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden spoke about the “lonely” United States policy pursued by American leader Donald Trump. RIA Novosti reports.
Biden noted that President Trump has significantly changed the entire political landscape. He said that now it is “America first”, that is, “America is alone.” The Democrat also added that his administration will not become Barack Obama's “third term”, under which he served as vice president for eight years. He stressed that the United States is now facing a completely different world.
It is noted that Biden has been criticized for nominating people who are known from the Obama administration to the most important government posts, and not new candidates.
Earlier, Biden announced his readiness to meet with the current head of state, Donald Trump. He stressed that he will meet with Trump if he asks.
On November 3, 2020, the next presidential elections were held in the United States. The counting of votes and the proceedings on this issue are still ongoing. According to the media, Biden received the necessary number of electoral votes to win, thus beating Trump. The democrat has already proclaimed himself the elected president of the United States. Trump, in turn, said that Biden was quick to call himself the country's new leader.
