Joe Biden

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has pulled ahead in another key state, North Carolina. The Associated Press reports.

After 80 percent of the vote count, Biden has 50.7 percent, while incumbent President Donald Trump has 48.3 percent. At the same time, the head of state narrows the gap during the process.

North Carolina is considered one of the states where the preferences of residents are divided approximately equally (“swing states”, swing states), and where the victory in the vote is equally likely to go to either party. So, in another similar state of Minnesota, Biden is also in the lead, but the count has just begun there.

Earlier it was reported that the US presidential candidate Joe Biden is the leader in the state of Texas. Texas is considered a traditionally Republican state, the positions of the Democrats, from whom Biden is running, are rather weak in it.

November 3 is general election day in the United States. Citizens elect a president and vice president, and 35 senators, the entire House of Representatives, 13 governors and local government representatives will be elected. The current head of state, Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Joe Biden, who served as vice president under Barack Obama, are fighting for the top post.
