Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden revealed what he plans to do in his first 100 days as head of the White House. He stated this in an interview with NBC News.
First of all, he plans to change the migration legislation. To do this, he will send a document to the Senate that will allow 11 million undocumented people to obtain citizenship.
Biden also criticized the environmental decrees of the past US President Donald Trump and promised to achieve their cancellation. In particular, he said, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) was “gutted” under the current president.
At the same time, Biden noted that the implementation of these points will depend on “what kind of cooperation I can or cannot get from the United States Congress.”
The third step Biden called the provision of “immediate assistance” to the authorities of the states affected by the coronavirus epidemic. In particular, he spoke about the need to help the communities most affected by the pandemic, including minority communities, and “provide them with such assistance to keep people afloat.” However, he did not disclose exactly how he plans to milk this, given that the reluctance of Congress to negotiate with the White House on this issue.
