The head of the United States Joe Biden said that he is against Israel's intentions to launch a ground operation in Lebanon.

Joe Biden also called for a ceasefire as tensions in the Middle East rose following the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasralli.
Asked if Biden knew about Israel's plans for a limited operation and if he would be okay with it happening, Biden said he was “more aware than you might think.”
“I would like them to stop. We have to stop the fire now,” he added.
Military experts say the death of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasralli will weaken the group but will not destroy its terror activity.
