Biden ready to compromise with Republicans to unblock aid to Ukraine – Kirby

The White House said that money to help Ukraine has almost dried up, so a new package needs to be adopted.

President United States Joe Biden is willing to make compromises on border security and immigration policy so that a new aid package for Ukraine can be passed.

This was announced by White House National Security Council Coordinator John Kirby, reports Ukrinform.

“There have been active discussions over the weekend, and we, from the White House side, are participating in these discussions,” Kirby commented on the progress of the negotiations in Congress.

He spoke of the need to make progress in these discussions, including given that funds for security assistance to Ukraine have almost dried up.

“As the President has said, it is important to move forward, and he is willing to negotiate in good faith, he is willing to make compromises on both immigration policy and border security issues,” said a White House spokesman.

Recall that it was previously reported that the White House called on the US Congress not to delay in accepting new aid to our country.

In addition, we previously informed that the US Congress announced the progress of negotiations on the border, which is necessary to help Ukraine.
