“We are on track to have enough vaccine doses for the entire adult population of the country by the end of May. This is several months earlier than expected, ”he said. The politician added that he instructed the Ministry of Health and Human Services to purchase another 100 million doses of the vaccine.
According to the American leader, if there is an excess of vaccines in the country, the United States will share it with the world. “We cannot be safe until the rest of the world is safe,” the president stressed.
In February, Joe Biden promised to vaccinate almost all Americans by the end of July. According to him, by this time it is planned to receive vaccine doses for 300 million residents of the country.
