He said that the first thing he would do was to deal with the coronavirus epidemic – vaccinations and economic recovery. This is stated on the website of his transition team.
“This is not about politics. It's about saving lives, ”Biden said on the website.
He said that his administration will have to contain the spread of the disease and compensate for its consequences: to vaccinate the population and financially help Americans in need.
Biden had previously announced a speech in honor of the election victory. He noted that the elections were fair and called on the people to unity. Also, the politician will call to fight the pandemic and develop a package of measures to support the economy.
