As a result of Israel's use of American weapons in the Gaza Strip, civilians were killed.
United States President Joe Biden said that if Israel will launch a full-scale offensive on the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, Washington will not provide weapons that can be used in this operation.
He stated this in an interview CNN.
“I have made it clear that if they enter Rafah – they have not entered Rafah yet – if they enter Rafah, I will not supply weapons that have historically been used for urban operations,” said Biden.
He admitted that civilians were killed as a result of the use of American weapons in the Gaza Strip.
At the same time, the US President stated that Israel would continue to receive weapons for defense purposes, in particular for the Iron Dome air defense system.
Recall that it was previously reported that the Israeli military announced that their 401st Armored Brigade captured the Rafah checkpoint in southern Gaza on the morning of May 7.
In addition, we previously reported that Israel began striking the city of Rafah in southern Gaza.
