US President Joe Biden expressed hope for progress in the upcoming talks with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin. RIA Novosti writes about it.
“I always look forward to negotiations and progress,” said the head of the White House.
Biden also added that he had warned Putin about serious sanctions in case of aggravation of the situation around Ukraine. According to him, such actions will lead to an increase in the American military presence in Europe.
On December 30, a telephone conversation took place between the leaders of Russia and the United States. In total, the dialogue lasted 50 minutes.
