The US President will continue dermatological follow-up as part of his current treatment, but the biopsy site has healed and no further therapy is required.
A biopsy performed on US President Joe Biden confirmed that the skin lesion removed from his chest was a basalioma, a common form of skin cancer. All cancerous tissue was successfully removed.
This was announced by White House physician Kevin O'Connor on Friday, March 3.
The White House doctor added that Biden will continue dermatological follow-up as part of his current treatment, but the biopsy site has healed and no further therapy is required.
In a letter released by the White House, O'Connor said that basalioma lesions do not tend to spread or metastasize.
According to him, the biopsy site healed well.
“Further treatment is not needed,” O'Connor assured.
Recall that US President Joe Biden and his family were banned from entering the Penza region of Russia. Like, the reason for this decision is the position of the head of the White House.
