The Secret Service is tasked with double-checking all security measures at the upcoming Republican National Convention.
After an assassination attempt on the Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's current White House occupant Joe Biden has ordered the Secret Service to strengthen the security of his election rival.
The American President announced this at a briefing at the White House.
Biden noted that all necessary resources will be directed to protect Donald Trump, who has already received an increased level of security measures.

Joe Biden said that the FBI is investigating the assassination attempt on Trump and promised that it will be thorough and fast.
The US President urged not to make assumptions about the motives of the assassin, assuring that FBI agents will do their job.
