Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden made an address to voters. His words are reported by CNN.
“We knew it was long (…) We were on our way to victory, but we still have to wait,” Biden said. According to him, the victory will not be announced to him and not to his rival Trump. He added that the election results may not be known until Wednesday morning, November 4 local time, or even later.
November 3 is general election day in the United States. Citizens elect a president and vice president, and 35 senators, the entire House of Representatives, 13 governors and local government representatives will be elected. The current head of state, Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Joe Biden, who served as vice president under Barack Obama, are fighting for the top post.
