US President Joe Biden said this during the annual State of the Union address at a meeting of both houses of the United States Congress.
“Let me bring to your attention: our armed forces will not participate in this conflict,” the American leader stressed.
Biden recalled that the US military went to Europe, but assured that they would not be involved in military operations against the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine.
“We have mobilized our forces – warships, military aviation. They are now located in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, on the eastern borders of Europe. And I am convinced that we will defend every centimeter of our territory from encroachment to the last,” Joe Biden said.
Recall that earlier the representative of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov said that the additional deployment of American troops in Eastern Europe allegedly confirms that Moscow has cause for concern.
