US President Joe Biden called the condition for the country's use of military force in the international arena. He stated this during his speech at the Pentagon, reports TASS.
According to Biden, the US should only use force as a last resort, not the first. The President noted that the central and integral mission of the US Department of Defense is to deter aggression from enemies and, if necessary, to engage in hostilities, as well as to win wars, so that America remains safe. He stressed that if necessary, he would not hesitate to use force to protect the interests of American citizens and US allies around the world.
Earlier, Biden pledged not to get involved in trade wars with China, as his predecessor Donald Trump did, and instead to compete with the world's second largest economy under international rules. According to him, there should be competition between the two countries, which does not develop into a conflict.
